Greetings. Now that I have a 2 day old Tacoma, I have started looking for armor, but I am not willing to disable BSM.
From past research I knew there was at least 1 bumper available from C4, but even that has been discontinued.

Anyone know of any rear bumpers that can mount the BSM in stock location, or do I need to go custom?

Puts a bit of a damper on things, since there's no reason to go full armor unless I can actually go full armor...

Because that goes where the little bsm light is, therefore effectively disabling it, which I stated in the first post, I am unwilling to do...

I think you’ll have to go custom. I’d imagine there’s some calibration that would be necessary to make sure it works if it’s mounted in a location that wasn’t OE.

What liability is there in the event it doesn’t work as designed and your involved in an accident?

    I’m just wondering.

Yeah, it's gotta be in the same exact location.
But same liability that's there stock and your involved in an accident: none. It's your job to make sure the space is clear, not a little light in your mirror. Also your fault running over a little kid walking behind a fence near your driveway... Just nice to have the sensors, if they can prevent something, great!

Also, in that frame of thought, anyone in the PNW have experience welding/tube bending?

You might want to ask in the local pnw threads
