De-badged last week and while claying this week saw some goo gone residue where it dripped onto the paint and plastic paper. It did not seem to come off with the medium clay bar. It did wipe off with a little turtle wax rubbing compound and very light pressure. The residue was hard to see and sun had to be at correct angle to see it. My truck is black.

I used the same method. Had a small amount of residue but came right off when I washed the truck.

My concern was that it may soften the plastic or vinyl covering on the lower part of the truck. There seems to be no problem. I guess I may have missed it two or three times when I washed since removing side badges. I just can not figure out why clay would not remove it. I do use a lot of lube and maybe that is why.

May be I did not apply it directly to the truck only to the rag I was using. I also used my stern iron to soften it before hand so that may have helped.
