I can only assume that its something that has to do with the ABS or something... but I also want to make sure its supposed to do it..

When I press the pedal to start the vehicle, and then put it in drive, I feel a weird vibration and hear a faint noise... only last about a second or so...

It will also do it occasionally while driving too...

I just want to make sure a sensor isnt tweaking out or anything...

I’d take it to the dealer. Probably something to do the with abs.

The new ones use the abs system for a lot.

I have a 19 Off Road and it does the same thing. 99% sure it has something to do with the crawl control. Think it uses a motor or something instead of a normal vacuum brake booster.

I think that's normal operation. I believe it's the vacuum pump priming or sumthn. I read it in some thread around here already where there was a better explanation. I have a M/T, so no crawl control. My brakes have never given me any issues, and works well.

Sounds like your ABS system to me. I'd take it to the dealer.

It's the electrical actuated hydro boost.

Assuming the Pro has the same booster as the OR, it's the electronic hydro boost.

    Nothing to do with ABS.

    Whoops, @splitbolt beat me.

My 2016 OR does this also. Does anyone else’s get weird operating in reverse? Like if I’m backing up and turn the wheel just a bit it’ll rev just a little higher and accelerates slightly?

Guessing you are moving at basically idle speed here? Turning the wheel loads the PS pump and there is an idle step up sensor to keep the load from dropping the idle too low.

Drive faster in reverse and you won't notice it. :D

Yes basically idle speed. Awesome. I figured it was something to do with maintaining idle. Just a little unexpected trying to fit in tight spots. Thanks!
