    Thanks.

Last question, and surface prep to concrete needed before applying foam?

New concrete there is basically no prep , old concrete just can't have a lot of scaling .

The foam comes out of the gun at over 1000psi so loose particles on the wall don't hang around .

This is old, but little to no scaling at this point.

When it comes time to do it , have your spray foam guy have a look but likely no prep required .

One thing we did on this building though is we kept all the studs and plates a minimum of 2" from the concrete walls , this made sure we had a continuous vapour barrier equivalent thickness behind all the framing / plumbing / ducting etc

man I hate house renovations lol. contractors are so so so close to done....get the kitchen sink all wrapped up yesterday and test it out...and lo and behold there is a leak in the drain pipe.

I didn't have them replace any of the old galvanize piping under the crawl space (just wasn't in my budget right now) and it's leaking from the drain pipe just inside the wall.

So now the plumber has to cut into the back of my brand new cabinets to access and replace the pipe.

    F'ing tired of this.

Went to install my new retrofit windows last night and found my window openings were installed incorrectly and they left about an inch of aluminum single pane window frame exposed on the top side of the window where you're supposed to only have 1/8" after sheetrock. So this will be fun to cut and flatten so all my new custom windows will fit.

I had a $150 clogged pipe turn into a $6k septic issue. I hate plumbing.
