Was talking with a friend who’s not on TW but has a bracket lifted Tacoma. Showed him the kit I’m gonna get installed would it be possible to fit this kit to his?
If so what length shock should it be?

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

There is hundreds of lifted tacomas with this kit. If your talking about a drop bracket it would be up to him to measure for shock length.

Yeah if he's putting them on with a drop bracket he would have to measure.

Anyone running stock bump stops with this kit installed? I have a ubolt flip kit and made a bracket to keep my factory bumps. Just want to make sure I dont need to but new bumps before I install.

I bought these and inverted them by drilling a hole in the frame strike plate. Reason I went with these is because they're almost 6" long, so I was able to trim them to the exact length I needed.

Finally found a spot to flex out properly with the new LT and realized I’m gonna have to rotate the lower mounts down a bit lol. Thought that wet spot under the shock was oil but it was just water from a creek I had just driven through.

Looks like you’re running super bumps? I’d just space them upward by 1/2” and see if that does the trick. A lot easier.

Trying to figure out if this kit will work with the stock 3rd gen trd OR wheels that I have on my 2nd gen. They are 25mm offset which I believe mean 4.98 bs. Current wheels are 265/75. This shits new to me.

I think Bora makes a .75 and 1” too if you don’t want to run wider

Im sure that this has been covered somewhere in these 35 pages, but im currently running bilstein 5125s and i would like to move to a higher quality shock but i dont want to drop the money for kings. Wondering if there is a middle ground shock that i can go with?

You can still run billy 5125s marlin crawler sells them for 89 each here’s the link. I may get a set as back ups. This upgrade is totally worth it so much flex paired with the HD hanger the ride is so much better.

I paid $540 shipped for my King PR2012-SS, that's not too expensive for what you get.

The Fox 985-24-054 is a very similar shock that can be had for slightly cheaper but you will get a 5/8 shaft instead of the 7/8" on the King.

The Bilstein 7100 B46-1353S is another rebuildable 2" diameter smooth body with reservoir that can be had for cheaper, but it only has a 14mm shaft which as about 9/16".
