Truck Camping Photo Thread

Love me some Dolly Sods! One of my favorite parts of the country.

 

Quick overnight with my 16yo son in one of our favorite areas...the soundtrack of a babbling creek just melts the stress away.

 

We explored from Crowley lake to Lone Pine. Up to Bristlecone forest.

 

First time out camping in the truck, went up to Table Rock State Park in upstate SC for a short weekend.

Already planning a week long trip towards the end of the year in upstate GA.

 

Little Alaska camping this weekend.

 

I know the 4Runner is not yours but do you know how well that ARB awning/tent is working out?

 

My friend likes it a lot but it kinda sucks in windy conditions even with staking all the staking points down.

Thanks! It was a great trip, all things considered. Just means that when we can actually do the other one, we don't have to plan it from scratch.

Thanks! The tent is a Coleman 10 man that we got at Costco for a pretty good price. It’s much larger than what I’m used to but provides plenty of room for my little man to crawl around. We also got a couple indoor/outdoor carpets they sell for cheap and put them on the floor. Really can’t think of a better setup for our scenario. My son really loves it!!
