What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Been work on yard projects after 3 years of neglect due to health issues. So work in the morning repairing sprinkler system and then play with truck and it’s projects for a few hours before energy runs out or I have transport Grand kids to work or Softball practice. Today fitting door decal so I can put them on this weekend when it’s color and kids are gone. Waiting for Retro Hood stripes.

Installed the 13" stubby all-terrain antenna today. This last offroad trip did it for me with the stock antenna banging off branches

 

I really need to do this

 

Make some cardboard cutouts for your windows for templates, makes it much easier when cutting the reflectix

 

I like my stock antenna.... with the 3” lift, the 295s, and the roof rack, she’s rather tall. So I use it like a feeler to know if I fit in parking garages etc. She sits 6’8” ish, the antenna is 2’ higher. Let’s me know when it’s getting close!

 

Great idea! Prinsu and awning plus 3.5” lift could be fun in tight overhead spaces.

 

Everytime I go offroading, my antenna always hit branches multiple times and it was just annoying lol. I'm still on stock suspension with 31" tires I'm also looking at getting a roof rack down the road

Finally got my tire situation taken care of for a while, got some BFGoodrich KM3's in 255/85R16 mounted today and with the lift and SPC UCA's I haven't had any rubbing yet, but will need to start flexing it out and see if there are any issues with it.

 

New Billies set at 1.75 front and 1 inch in the rear. On 265/70/17

 

Nice. I have the same & totally dig it. Reception is still pretty good too considering its shorter.

Thank you. The PO managed to scratched every panel, some real bad others, not so much.
I replaced the dashboard because of paint peeling near the defroster vent. After installing the new dash I wasn't about to install dirty and scratched parts back in.
Some parts I cleaned, others were bought new from Toyota.

Still waiting on one more panel that's been on backorder for a month now.

Still need to do the door panels and driver seat.

 

Took a picture before installing my center console so people can see what it looks like underneath if they want to install anything and they're not sure about what's back there.
