So I'm sure this is a easy a to answer, I just can't find what I'm looking for in here. So I bought some switchs from Tacoma beast and I can wire them to the illumination. I want them to come one when I turn on my headlights and my other switch lights come on. I'm sure it's easy I just haven't played with it yet. I figured I would of found something on here first.

this may help you on the wiring, but all you should have to do is to tap into a 12v fuse in the small fuse panel on left a steering wheel behind dash. I think #26 fuse goes to lights but not sure off the top of my head. Look in your manual if you have it and just tap into the headlights fuse and it will illuminate like all others when the lights are turned on. IF you need more pics i can send you a couple this evening and how to wire them.

This that and the other thing.
I wired my switch to come on and dim with the rest of the dash lights. I wired it to the dimmer switch in the dash

Green with WHITE stripe is GROUND and solid GREEN is your positive.

Cool that confirms what I saw. I was looking at the schematics at lunch and I saw the green wire was running to the light control switch.

I don't see any fuse for "lights", the closet thing is "dome". That's 24

If you want the added switches to behave like the installed ones then as mentioned before, solid green (+) green with white runner (-). Parallel any of the installed switch illumination wires.
If you want them to just illuminate when TAILS are selected on the headlight stalk, then add-a-fuse (+) to slot next to TAIL fuse.

You can also just piggy back into the switch in the dash just solder the ends and back stab them into the harness. Just check your 12v power. That’s what i did for my bed light switch EBE9AD17-2E72-4630-8EB7-6C1DBA7FB6E4.jpg

That's what I ended up doing. Apparently I wired it wrong from the get go. But I'm all good now. The wire harnesses didn't have a wire diagram.

Was there a certain color wire you tapped into?

    Read post #6 above.

    Green is +
    Green/silver is -
This applies to the lighting circuits so if you pop one of your current dash switches out these wires will be going into the back.

Use a posi-tap or an actual wire tap. Don’t solder and “backstab”/wedge your wires into another switchback.
