Exhaust, thing had the equivalent of what I assumed to be a glass pack on a straight pipe for a civic.

Always found them small. I’m more of a hot hatch guy I drool over the new Golf R

They're pretty much the opposite of the ultimate driver's car in stock form, which is what makes them so much fun... but if modded properly very potent.

The 2019+ ND with the revised engine will make most anyone forget about potential S2000 purchases, what a car!

miata... talk about turning in a man card. i could never be seen in one. it's like riding one of those three wheel "motorcycles".

 

Oh yeah. They just need a little bit of exhaust work to let out that British roadster note.

They are definitely on the small side, but I seem to fit well enough.

I respect hot hatches. The R is nice and always enjoyed following an R32. I like the info about the diff on the newer ones, but I am very done with FWD. 25yrs of fighting the lack of traction and the heavy nose. I was driving way to fast to compensate.

There is a person near me that has a 1st Gen GTi. Just very nice.

R32 is a dog, but so unique. I’d own one every day of the week if I could find one that hasn’t been molested.

The new platform is so great because they finally got out of the TFSI engines. It’s fairly easily modified and insanely fast with a basic OTS Stsge 1 tune that doesn’t require any major modifications.

Mk1 GTI is a classic.

I saved a lot of those threads when I first got the truck. Now I gotta look back at them sometimes because I forget where stuff is / just easier to re-read it. This forum and YouTube have made doing any job short of transmission work much easier.

 

I think I ran with one back in the day in our very lightly modded Saab. That exhaust note was almost worth the price.

There were two in the work parking lot with massive FMICs and piping. Lots of work done.



Yeah. I laugh scrolling through the watched thread list. There's some gems in there.

 

Know a few folks that felt that way. Till they got a ride on an actual closed course with a semi skilled driver. They became more, ummm, appreciative.

You're looking at Montego Blue. It does turn a deep green or blue, depending on light, just like Montego Bay. 12 parts to mixing the paint.

Doesn't matter the angle you look at it, you can never see all the car in one color at one time. Well, maybe in the dark.

I had a friend that was into autoX big time. He loved getting his Peugeot 405 out there.

First gear can be finiky at times. Go to 2nd then up to 1st, should feel it fully engage.

 

Yes. I’ve had to do that. Put it in 2nd, move the truck just an inch, then move to first. It’s a little panicky during a traffic light when it does that.
