Hi y’all I’m new and just wanted to make sure I’m not making any glaring mistakes before I pull the trigger on lifting my truck.
I have an 02 and am looking to get coilovers for 3” or 3.5” if possible of lift in the front, replace the UCA’s with JBA, and 2” add-a-leafs in the rear to level it out.
I’m planning to put 33x12.5 tires on 15x8 wheels with 3.75 backspacing under it.
Besides some minor rubbing that I can take care of by hammering/trimming, is there anything I’m doing that seems wrong? Or am I missing anything important?

    Thanks for the help!

Toytec coilovers. Height adjustable Bilstein's. 265/75/16 MT. TRD wheels. Rebuilt r150f. Marlin clutch kit. All kinds of new parts...
Sounds like you are on track. Hopefully you have a V6 in there. I would assume you do but just gotta ask. 4.10 or lower gears would be a good idea. You are going to get quite the angle on your CV boots and they rub and tear often in 3"+ lift applications. You could get some different boots that are specific for lifted vehicles. Rubbing will only occur at full steering lock which isn't that bad really. Good luck!

I’m assuming changing the gear ratio is something I’d need a mechanic for, is that something most shops can do?
Hadn’t thought about the cv joints, I’ll have to look into that as well.

    Thank you!

You can do it but a well known shop would give you peace of mind and possibly warranty their work. Re-gearing can be done and if you have the proper tools and YouTube you should be able to do it yourself.
