    Vehicle:
    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
Thanks! I like the “Baja” series Jayco’s. They are not rugged expedition off-road trailers, only really best for graded dirt roads, but they do come with a flipped axle (good for clearance over dips) and have extra capacity water and holding tanks over the standard models. And I love that the entire underside is covered with a skin- keeps the rodents and jackelopes out! I modded it with a solar panels and a extra battery bank, along with more 12v and USB power outlets inside, so its a great boondocking home base now. :)

picked up this beauty the other day. No Boundaries 19.8. Also got one of those weight distributing hitches with sway bars.
towing it made me want more oomph on the 100 mile trip home. i got about 10.2 mpg.
it kind of concerns me towing it on longer trips, then i remembered reading about OVtune and wondered how it would impact the towing capability. sounds like it may be worth a try.
    she's about 3500 dry.

Personally, I would either accept it for what it is, especially if you're only towing a handful of time a year. Or trade up to a 1/2 ton if you're towing on a regular basis. I didn't like towing a 4k lb trailer. About as high as the one you've got. With a 1/2 ton, a walk in the park.

Big difference. I'm towing a Jayco X19H (3700 dry, 4200 wet) and pre-OVTune it struggled quite a bit especially hillls. It was bad enough to make me want to downsize my camper so I started looking. But since I installed OVTune last year it does way better. So much that I've decided to keep the camper now. Even with heavier tires and rock sliders I've got since. I am running 93 performance though so gas is a bit more expensive but it's worth it IMO.
