For those who are older like me, remember the thick magazines from the 80s, Wheeler Dealers, where there would be pages of wrecked awesome Toyota trucks. Well, I have always wanted to build one. Now I've done a body off frame restore of a 69 Fj40 and solid axled my '89 Toyota truck back in 99, so doing a little work is not new. But, I have never done a rebuild after collision. Well... My 30 year dream came true when I chose this manual TRD Off Road with temp tags still attached. Bought through a broker, so paid bit more for it. Progress is slow, but thought I'd share a few pictures and progress.

Picking up the truck. Don't know what happened, but the front pass side is pushed up and back and from the parts in the bed, it clearly went through a fence as both mirrors were torn off and scrapes down the side.

    Not completely awful.

Cut the passenger side frame rail and about to remove the crash parts.

no going back... haha... After the crash there was no going back....

    More to come.

@Bigdaddy4760 , yes. Lots of photos. Drove the Fj40 today. Here it is last summer in Moab. I put a Ls1 in it, NV4500 5 speed manual, and FJ80 full float axles. Otherwise the body is stock.

This was the FJ40 when I got it.

    I am in Wyoming.
Here is one of my 89. Bought it new in 89. Too bad it is only a two seater.
