I am pretty skeptical of all this warranty stuff dealers offer, so I am hoping for a little insight... They want to give me Toyota Care for $1295 5 years 55,000 mile and then also this 84-month 100,000-mile maximum principle auto care for $4000? I have never heard of this principle of auto care. They are being very vague with describing it and they told me they have other plans, but dodged the price question. "Everyone goes with the max plan" Are these warranties worth having for a brand new truck?

No, and read the fine print, I'd bet you can't doaintence yourself for them to honor it

Save your money. They are a waste and a battle when you try to use them.

Toyota care is "free" for the first 2 years/25k miles, so you will be paying 1295 for 3 years of the plan. Thats 3 oil changes and tire rotations. Also, look at the fine print on those extended Toyota care plans, it probably says air filters NOT included.
And 4000 for the extended Warranty is insane.

That's outrageous. People get hosed the worst when they go in for signing to take delivery. The big money is made in the finance managers office. Say no to everything. Subaru dealer wanted to charge me $2600 for an extended 10 year warranty which I said no. I ended up purchasing the same Subaru backed warranty from another dealer for $1600.
