As long as it’s putting out food that you’re enjoying, that’s all that matters!:bananadead:

LOL yeah all of the above! But guess it would depend on what you and the family cook the most often. I don't use the grillgrates for steak like most people but for everything else I do. So for me...

    1) GrillGrates 2) Vortex (I cook a lot of wings) 3) Roti, because I only do birds with it once every 6 weeks or so. Splatchcocking and cut up on the grillgrates works too.

Which is the exact opposite order I purchased them.

They are for kettles and egg type cookers. You do have a kettle for grilling right?! I cook a lot of wings with mine. They help make awesome smoked wings at high heat. This was last month, Costco hasn't had them since then I need to go there today and check again.

30 minutes in I started with a huge chunk of apple wood, all that is left of it. 5 lb. of wings.

50 minutes time for the sauce.

Once melted tossed well and back on for 8 minutes. Done.

Well almost done, back into the bowl and tossed again. Now they are done.

Well fishing was poor, little man didn’t catch anything. Not from lack of trying, lures, minnows, power bait, nothing.

At least we had some good breakfast over the Joe.

Looks good to me! Some of the best memories I own are from fishing with my youngest son. Started him off when he was really young (his mother claims he was just a baby LOL) and sometimes the fishing wasn't so great, but the time together always was. We still try to fish labor day weekend together which is basically the last weekend for trout here. This year labor day will be his 29th birthday.

I’m not too familiar with barbacoa. What are all the vegetables in the dish and what are they for?

    Scratches, dents, lots of squeaks.
My meat/grill thermo is on its last leg. Looking for recommendations on a new one. Must have dual probes. Would like wifi or blu tooth. Waterproof would be a bonus

I've only run the Grilleye Pro twice, but I feel good with it so far. $90 @ Costco, comes with 3 probes, but you can run up to 8. Has wifi and bluetooth.

Only minor issue I had was it wouldn't stay connected to my phone.....just had to update the firmware and boom, fixed!

Thermoworks all their products are top shelf. Have the smoke but it is not waterproof not many really are. I put a plastic container over it if there is a threat of rain. But do that with all my controllers. I do know the smoke will work at -30 below zero and not many will.

Peppers, mushrooms, onions, cherry tomatoes marinated with avocado oil, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, thyme sprigs from my plant.

    Tyme marinade.jpg

Sweet Italian Sausage wrapped in bacon of course. And cherry tomatoes also marinated put on at the end. GrillGrates are seasoning up nicely

2nd GG cook cherry tomatoes on.jpg

Over a bed of fried rice. 'Twas outstanding
