So it’s a long bed??? I’m so confused

Yes, 6' is a long bed. Short bed is 5'.

 

Tell the 3rd Gen people who are asking that there's only one way to find out.

Some caps fit some trucks not perfectly but well enough for them to do their thing with it.

I throw a single cab Ranger cap on mine to go to the beach with dogs. It has a weird looking gap between the cab and cap but fits.

Measure it and post dimensions and they can make up their mind if it's going to be worth looking.

Unless of course, someone on here has already tried it and the older cap just falls in the bed of a third gen.

edit: You don't have a place to keep it? You may have the truck a long time and never know how handy that cover may come in the future. You're not going to get rich from it and it may cost more to replace later.

 

I’ve been told that the 3 rd generation has wider rails so I just fixed the listing. I’m hoping the people who are asking have more knowledge than me I want to get a flat top for it the cap takes away from the look of the truck

 

I’m selling it for less than half of what it’s worth I just want to get it to someone who can use it and get the flat cover not looking to get rich lol

I bought the truck so when I want to move stuff I can. A flat cover with a lock is great for suitcases for shore trips

I use the bed to donate stuff to the Salvation Army and I like flea markets so if I see an awesome piece of furniture I can buy it and put it in the truck the truck comes in handy for me I do a lot of things myself and the truck allows me to be more independent

I've had one of these on my truck for a year and I love it.

 

This is a soft top right??? What do you do in the winter with the snow do you leave it on or take it off ?

 

This one will fit my truck??? And is it hard to put on ??? I know very little lol

Also look into the softoper, it’s the best of both worlds. Keeps stuff dry like a cap, but quickly folded down or removed.

 

He posted a tonneau cover. You just push the snow off it, I run one in the winter

 

I left it on. Yes it will fit your truck and it's easy to put on. There is a youtube video. Or one of those^^^
