Morning all

Dirt covers everything in the house

The pile has gotten bigger in the driveway

All the closest and cabinets have been emptied on the floor

Wife and I are bothing at each other's throat.

Good morning all, going to be a beautiful day, mid 70's and sunny. Meeting a friend for coffee at 9 then practice setting up my new backpacking tarp for a bit.

Had to move the seat, didn’t care in the slightest.

I’m 6’1 and my wife is 5’4....moving seats is what we do. Besides if it makes the guy comfortable and everyone safe....I’m all for it.

 

Monsoon rain (again) . We're 75% of the way to last years record rainfall at 5-1/2 months into the year. In 20 months, we've had 19 monthly totals broken. And the rain continues.

Maybe I should open an umbrella store?

Couldn't sleep much last night , still pissed off at OnTrac delivery and and faking a delivery of a much needed item I've been waiting on to finish my new engine

I've been doing some research and what happened to me is a common problem . Also having to reorder the custom pushrods from Summitracing so I'm effectively paying double the $$$ for them

 

That's getting warm !!!!



This is the 10 day for the High Desert !!

 

Next 8 days, they're calling for temps in mid 70's to low 80's, We had mid 90's in early May.

Saving grace is, grass is NOT growing as fast as it could. #Thingsthathappenwhenthesundon'tshine.

Kentucky (state of) pitched in with tax breaks so a full size "replica" of Noah's Ark could be built as a tourist attraction. Big fight from the NON religion people. But it was built. Recent heavy rains and they had several roof leaks. They filed an insurance claim. Called it "flood damage".

Seriously....

 

My neighbor and I both turned off our irrigation. Getting closer to artificial turf.

 

Neighbor has it. Looks like the real thing. Took me awhile to figure it out.

 

Lawns up here in the High Desert are a very rare sight !!! . Mostly just dirt lots with a Joshua tree or Desert landscaping
