Gelcoat!! That brings back memories. Used to work with a couple of guys who owned a street rod shop in Wolcott back in 83.

 

Taking it nice and easy today. Did a lot of yard work yesterday, and still some to do but it's Sunday... Ain't nobody got time for that on a Sunday.

Going to the in-laws for lunch, then watching the uefa Nations League final at 2:45 (taking place in Portugal, and it's Portugal vs Netherlands), then likely going to the Portuguese Cultural Center in Danbury for their outdoor picnic.

 

Hi Dana, going to take my truck to the old town road, and drive till I can't no more just kidding going to pick up some hay

 

That is so not what I had as a kid!

 

Sat. pulled almost everything out of garage. Snapped some shots, posted some C'list… put everything back in.
This am the patio table & chairs left! Opened up the porch & some garage space. Hoping guy wanted BBQ shows.
That thing takes a lot of floor space.

Spend today figuring how to get things UP. Want to put Taco into the garage. Want to get my street rod out too.
Almost room to get it out. I can see the tires are low.

Guess that's todays goal - get the car out of the garage & drive it.

Can't decide if I'm fiercely independent, or stupidly proud.
But I look at things like the bed on the bed & recall Pop saying
"if the Egyptians could build the pyramids w/ human strength & leverage..."
and I figure there MUST be a way I can do that by myself.

Thank you Mr. Evil Nut Tree that I passionately hate & is in the process of being cut down - you were a 'Yuge' help today. (But I still hate those damn nuts it drops!)

That's a lot of holes in your rims to clean. How/what do you use to keep them so tidy? (BTW truck is looking real nice.)

 

Fluid film Sprayed a few trucks this weekend in the warm weather..much easier than 40F in Nov!
