Decided to say screw it. There’s only a 40% chance of rain until 1800 today. I had two bags of PF Meat Massage there were itching to be tried.

Also, trying the “just let em cook” method this time instead of 3-2-1. I’m always open to new techniques. We will see how it goes.

Have some pork loin going to cube up, marinate and cook today. And wrap in bacon of course but I am out of thin cut bacon. And don't want the loin to dry out from overcooking. Last month or so keep stumbling over where people boil thick cut bacon for 10 min. then wrap things with it before grilling. Supposed to cook more evenly and faster. But not sure I can bring myself to boil bacon I might make a run to Costco for more thin cut if work ever stops calling me. Be glad for Monday and get off on call this week, only time I'm glad to see Monday come around.

IF I did boil bacon in a pot of water I have plans for that water. There are 4 ears of corn sitting in my kitchen... Bacon infused corn on the cob anyone? :D

To those that have them handy, Rural King has Lumberjack pellets on sale for $4.99 per 20lb bag. My store has sold over six pallets this morning. I got mine for just over four bucks per.

Yes after saying “Screw it” I then decided to do a little research. Looks like there’s nothing to worry about except myself and the meat getting wet:rofl:

Ya the you part is the big one. I’ve dealt with it MANY times though. Nothing going to stop me from getting some smoked meats.

4.99 for a 20lb lumber jack pellets. I tried to order 7 bags online and shipping was $246 :D

Went to our local Dicks and manager will only sell for $11.

I called Dick’s customer service. They said rural king is “third party” and they got an email from corporate saying they won’t price rural king. Bla bla bla. Best they’ll do is match Atwood’s $8.88 a bag (free shipping if your spend more than $45)
