Thanks guys. I've been considering getting some sliders myself, but didn't know the nomenclature. Now I do. I don't want side steps. Anyone have some good photos, product/brand recommendations for me? Photos would help a lot. Thank you for the education, now I need to know what products are out there and some sources.

Another Saturday, another Hawaiian outrigger canoe regatta with jungle rules free-for-all parking. Not sure how this little box thing ever got out of the trap.

Now that is awesome!! I searched "sliders" on the forum and came up with nothing like that at all-mainly individual posts rather than threads. Will look thru all of these and see who will ship to HI as well. Thank you for taking a quick diversion "OT" for me.

Best way I’ve found to search is to go to google, type in what you want like “3rd gen slider options” and add “tacomaworld.com” to the end of it.

Look how small those spots are, no way, I'd park in three of them being careful.

Tip: just add "site:tacomaworld.com" & it'll filter to only this site. Your way will mostly work, until some other website mentions tw.com

Missed a good opportunity for a decent picture last night, so bear with my imaginative description.

I caught a midsize SUV taking up two spots, plus hanging out two feet into the one-lane aisle, in a very narrow, crowded parking garage last night. It was a prepaid garage for a theater, so people like myself were circling, trying to find a spot that Ticketmaster promised me was there.

I found my spot near the top deck and walked back down to the floor that the offender was on, just to snap a pic for you fine folks. Instead, a hero-that-gotham-city-needs had gotten there two seconds sooner than I. Scribbled on the driver's window, in sharpie, was the message "you park like a dick and you sick dicks." Studies in phallus were being drawn on the windshield. Rather than incriminate this noble vigilante, I just said "nice," turned around and walked down to street level.

I really wish I had that pic though.
