Thanks lol. Still about 7 months out but I'm sure it's going to go by quick.

We've specifically told her mom not to send us anything so she sends us 'just a small box of things' 2 days later lol.

She even asked about moving into the guest house behind our house, that was a hard heeellll no from me...I'm sure we'll appreciate having all the help we can get from family but I don't want in-laws living in the backyard haha. That sounds awful

Not yet, we can find out next week at the 8wk check up but it involves a $300 blood test. Otherwise we can find out at the 12wk ultra sound, which is what we're gonna do

Small chance it could be the AntiChrist, I've sold my soul on a number of occasions in the past and this could be my reckoning

You should get a 3rd gen runner, then you’ve got interchangeable parts between the two trucks

Really? Wow that seems late in the game to learn the sex...was it just too difficult to get a clear ultra sound pic at her regular doc or?

Not a bad idea, but if I get another rig I'm gonna mod/wheel then I'll have to get rid of the truck. Can't afford two money pits lol. But you're right at least a 3rd gen t4r would let me keep most of my truck's mods.

The other idea is to pay off my truck and keep it as my weekend toy, then get a cheap new gas friendly commuter.

That's the route I'm leaning towards. Maybe consider selling the truck for a t4r or LC in a few years when the kid is older and we want to do family wheeling trips. But for the next few years any wheeling I do is gonna be just me most likely and maybe 1 passenger riding shotgun, so my truck will still work fine

That just screams money pit...if there's one thing my supercharged 1st gen has taught me it's that boost is a constant $$ pit. One that you love and hate at the same time
