    The Forester has a Kenwood.

I'm fact, now all three legit vehicles have Kenwoods!

Here's the back of the factory one.

Oh it's not that bad. The wiring harnesses now do everything... Hell, this one gave me a reach-around as I was splicing it in!

Well... you guys that couldn't make it, missed out on an epic day.

    We had:
Driving through tight brush (pinstripes for everyone)
    2 water crossings
1 somewhat precarious situation rolling around an obstical
Had to pull a tree out of our way
    Snow
    Awesome views

All in all a one of the best day drives I've been on. @Hookgrip and @Blue Canary trucks did OUTSTANDING on the fresh lifts.

Met @thatrafael23 today. He came along with us... Super cool dude.

Who's down for a mid-week drive in the woods?

I gotta burn some of my sick days before they re-load next month. Jen is off Wednesday and Thursday... anyone up for one of those days?

Those are some great photos, bummed I couldn’t make it.

I might be able for a Thursday run but as always my schedule changes. Also I’m prepping for the Lost Coast Father’s Day weekend run coming up

And BTW @Pickeledpigsfeet... how are things with you and yours? Did your Mom figure out a place to stay in the Valley? Is your Dad recovering somewhat? Do you, or your Mom, need anything I can help with?

We were talking about you yesterday at the Mod Day... just know there are people thinking about you brother.

I was in a white FJ hauling ass back up to sonora at that time. I saw you at the last minute and didnt get to wave.

Thanks everyone for the good thoughts. Its been hard, but at least Doctor’s has a great Stroke Center. No real end in sight, luckily my dad retired with excellent medical for life.

Had an interesting situation with the trailer. The hospital allowed us to have the trailer sitting 10’ from Orangeburg, on the edge on a big parking lot. We have to run a genset to keep the AC running. So I was sitting out by it yesterday and up walked the owner from the small car dealership that shares the parking lot we were in. He ends up having us move the trailer next to his lot and plug it in to his 50a outlet. He benefits from having people on site and in return we get some electricity.

Dude that's awesome. It's freaking cool that strangers are willing to lend a helping hand in these types of situations.

I think I did see you in the FJ... and yes I think I did start to wave. I don't wave at every Toyota, but if I make eye contact with a Toyota brother I'll try to wave.

Jen is asking if we can make your Mom some food or something, maybe come by and visit. Let her know, and see if there would be a good time or day we can bring something by.

Agreed that is really cool. I’ll be up in the OR there tomorrow morning. Doctors looks crazy sometimes outside with the lawn people, but they have some great doctors. It’s the only place I’d ever let a surgeon touch my back and I know a lot of surgeons.

I hope you dad gets better soon

Thanks for the great offer. My Dad’s condition changed yesterday and they have to keep him sedated almost 24/7 to keep his blood pressure real low. As part of this they would prefer that we didnt visit as much, so It looks like my mom is going to be heading home every night for at least the next few days.
