3rd Gen Tacoma Power Folding Mirrors

Great news and I for one would be interested in the total package (power folding mirrors, puddle lights) and would wish to add the keyless passenger entry and V5 signal turners by Meso that would be one hell of an install-

One thing though,
If your going to have multiple camera setup (i.e. side mirror cameras) you will have to slip a control module behind the e-tune system that can handle multiple cameras. Any ideas about that and how that could be managed with / or without the installation of more switches??

 

Not sure exactly. Katie is the brain of all this. I’m just piggy backing on her ideas. She could probably explain better.

Be nice to see the control panel in more light to see how the workmanship turned out after the Meso adaptor install. Again another vote for a video install and I think your sells will increase dramatically.

I accidentally hit the grey with my dremel at the very end with this one in a couple spots so I had to do another one, but here’s a look for you.

Received the Harnesses, but no Control Modules with them so I’m having to wait for those to show up before I can ship these out.



Took a lot longer than I was hoping. Control Modules I am being told are being sent today through fast shipping 5-7 days.

Here’s the extra White Wire that will be included for you to insert into your O1 Connector and then use the White Wire in the Power Master Switch Connector.



Here’s a look at the change in the Plug-N-Play Harness for the Power and the Negative Wires. You will no longer have to tap the Negative Wire. I have now made it part of the Harness as PNP.

 

Since the 4R PNP Harness appears dead, when will you be send the refund?

 

I plan to send it out with the shipments, I can send yours now tho

UPDATE:

It seems the Control Module has made it to Portland so I’m hoping it will get here before Friday as I leave Friday for the East Coast and will most likely be off the forum most of the time. I will try to check in when I can but my time will be very limited as I will be in a ton of meetings. I will be gone from the evening of the 21st-30th.

Yeah. You made this after your shipment. Haha and then wanted me to hold off on the refund just in case something came up but I’ve been trying and it’s not liking like it’s going to happen. I edited the post above but the refund has been sent.

UPDATE:

Well the Control Modules are scheduled to arrive tomorrow but I don’t think I will have the time I will need prior to my flight leaving Friday to get the Tacoma Mirrors out

This will be the first thing on my list when I return from my trip on the 30th. Therefore, starting July, should be a very exciting Month for the Tacoma Community as it will get to experience for the first time the Power Folding Mirrors

Once everything is all sorted out, will there be a storefront to purchase these? Or perhaps another buy in?

 

I am currently on my way back from my trip to the east coast and I will be getting started on this First Batch of Mirrors and shipping them out FINALLY

Once, they have installed their mirrors and have ran the mirrors for a week or so and have not reported back to me with any issues, which I don’t foresee any issues popping up as I have been running mine for what a few months now and haven’t had any, then I will open this thread up to PRE-ORDERS!

What does that mean? What that means is this...you are able to get on the list and make your payment for the package you are wanting to purchase. I will immediately make my purchase for the Batch of 100 Kits. If I foresee during the PRE-ORDER stage that those 100 Kits are going to be sold out, I will immediately order another 100 Kits.

I know this Kit has taken awhile to finally release out the door to this First Batch of Individuals, but once they receive it, I think they will understand why. It is truly a Plug-N-Play Kit, minus the two wires that I have spoke about. It comes with so many features and it is extremely nice. I personally think for the price, it is well worth it and I hope that the feedback I receive will second that here soon!!! I cannot wait to hear what this first group thinks.

Speaking of first group, I have sent you all a PM asking if you want to use the JST Black Connector or if you want me to install the wires directly into the O2 & O3 White Connectors. I have heard from most, but not all. If I do not hear from you before I ship them out, I will just go with the included Black Connectors from the Kit.

 

Is this a plug and play kit for the Tacoma even if our mirrors dont have the 3 holes?

 

I think most of use get a whole new mirror assembly.

 

UPDATE: All the Mirrors have been shipped up to this point that can be shipped. The others will be shipped as soon as I can get them out. People will be receiving them as soon as tomorrow The TacomaWorld Community will soon have the release of Power Folding Mirrors if everything goes well with this first batch of installers.
