This scares me. I have seen people with magnets on their car cause permanent discoloring from having it on there a while. Is this meant to be left on all the time or only while in the woods?

Hey man, just a tip - your suspension should be one of your last upgrades. Once you have all of your add-ons, bumpers, and/or armor, you'll know the average weight distribution better and can spec out a suspension accordingly. For example, picking out 886 vs 887 coils, choosing which leaf pack is appropriate, etc.

When you look into suspension, Fox and Icon are good brands, but there are many others. A favorite of quite a few TW members is the OME (Old Man Emu) brand, which has various levels that also should not damage the wallet too much.

Of course, if you're just going for looks, puck/body lifts are out there for cheap. That said, they don't provide any increased functionality.

    My .02!

Give this a try. Scott from Dallas Auto Detailing highly recommends it. "Protect All."

Read the reviews over and over and finally bought the Subaru/Kicker Tweeter upgrade. Installed in 15 mins and I have to say that it is a great addition. The stock Non-JBL Premium stereo isn't terrible....until you upgrade the tweeters and realize what you've been missing. I highly recommend it. $100 on Amazon, but I think you can find them a little cheaper elsewhere on the intertron

It's up to you if you want to keep it on full-time or just when wheeling. It's super easy to install and takes longer to wash the truck than putting the stuff on. I plan to keep it on full time as of right now because it's hiding a good amount of trail rash from wheeling trips before I got the armor. As for the fading, I have seen many Jeeps with similar products that never had issues with discoloration but only time will tell I guess. :)

This is the one I've used with great success.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0185PU38A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've not used it specifically on a tonneau cover but just about everything else on the truck inside and out. But don't put it on your bed mat if you have one. Not that it will hurt it in anyway, but it will make it slick which is not usually desirable.

    Two questions:

    1. What's the cost?
    2. Do they make it in desert digital?

Unfortunately my work network blocks that site for some reason. Guess I'll have to wait till I get home to check.

    1) Around $450 so cheaper than getting the truck wrapped in my area.
    2) Not sure what desert digital looks like but check out their site because they might. www.goat-truckarmor.com

Also, they have been coming out with new patterns so give Matt at GOAT Armor a call. :)

Here’s the way I see it, it’s your truck do what you want with it. Personally, I love it. In the last 30 years, I have spent enough money on mods to buy 3 additional vehicles. I know when I do these mods, I will NOT get my money back for them. This is my choice. We do these mods to change it to the way we want it. Keep up the good work. BTW, where’d you get the armor?
Edit: I see info on prev. post

This was more like 2 Fridays ago. Added Rekgen mudflaps and OEM steps. Will eventually get sliders but for $100, couldn't pass up on the steps. Thanks @LostHusker
