What does this have to do with the 3rd Gen Taco? Nothing. Should be posted in another section.

Yup. Park a 2/3 gen Tacoma next to a first gen tundra. They are almost identical in size.

Ford does it with their 5.0, Which is used in the Mustang and f150.

Did anyone notice the lug pattern, I thought Tundras were 5 lug? Photos show 6 lug wheels

Yep, video mentions that and how 6 lugs is better for payload, etc. I'm betting its a similar refresh as we saw from 2nd gen to 3rd gen tacoma, they'll keep basic stuff like frame, cab, bed and then update panels, interior, front and rear and new powertrain, etc. Not a total redesign but a heavy refresh. Based on 4runner, new rav4 and tacoma I bet the front end is similar. Will be interesting to see.

I've been thinking this too. Make the next Tundra look like a bigger Tacoma!

I always take this with some skepticism, but I was talking with the service guy at my local Toyota dealer and he claims he received an internal memo with upcoming changes. 2020 will have a refreshed Tacoma (he speculated w apple play), a new Highlander (I think this is verified by online car media). Nothing about a 2020 tundra though. So he speculated on a 2021 tundra. He also mentioned car changes but I didn't pay attention.

The Tacoma refresh is also mentioned at 4.40 in this video. Again, no source referenced... So judge validity on your own.

Too early into its design cycle for a Tacoma refresh, it will get updates like it does every year, so Apple Carplay and maybe a new grille, etc, nothing major, tons of these youtube reviewers/etc always claiming they know updates. I guess some may call that a refresh, lol. The highlander again is a heavy refresh, same platform, same with the likely 2021 tundra.

To be clear, that's what I mean by refresh . New grill. New dashboard with whatever electronics. Etc. A redesign is what was done in 2016 for the Tacoma. A refresh was done in 2012.
