Bought mine last yr aug 31st (didn’t realize the day/end of month then but I’m sure that helped me during the negotiations). Seemed really motivated at the time

I live in a new car dealer "no haggle" price zone. The dealer knocks off $400 and "gives" you oil changes for life. Needless to say I do not buy any new vehicles in southeast VA. I drive hundreds of miles and get real discounts. Anyone that doesn't shop around deserves what they get.

Are those the stock mudflaps? I had to take off my front set of mudguards cause they were rubbing in the front. I have the same set up, but OF DCSB

I never thought of it like that. You are correct. Actually almost all of them are crooks. I guess it’s best to find what you like and keep it for as long as you can.

@RJwildcat Man, the truck and FJ look good. I have an FJ we bought in 2007 with over 210k on it now. If someone said I could only have one, I’d be waving at the taco as it left the driveway. Oh, and don’t worry about the flag police.

I have a Yakima track system. I wanted the ability to mount a basket above the bed but I didn't want to drill holes into the bed rails so I made some brackets that will slide in the side rails. Tapped some holes in the mounting brackets so I could screw in the towers (instead of using the Yakima track) and was able to use a rack I already own for pretty minimal cost. Only downside is I can't use it with the tonneau cover.

Gauge cluster or dash? Gauge cluster is same just minus the scratches. I am waiting on a new button for dash since I wanted it in the middle and I got the taller button. So smaller one is coming in tomorrow and will do then.

SLICKYINC thanks bro. I received both decals for the passenger side but had my brother in law help me put them on. He is a 25+ year active Marine and said there was no problem with putting the flag on the driver side. Either way, I took them off in case it offended anyone. Will post new pictures soon.

Gave the kids a bath! Love them both, if I had to decide for one of the two I really wouldn't know which to pick. Luckily they aren't jealous and like each other ;):)!

p.s. I removed the flag decals. I apologize if anyone got offended. When I ordered the decals I received both decals for the passenger side. I had my brother-in-law help me put on the decals (a 25+ year active Marine) and said there was no problem with putting the flag on the driver side. I guess some took it as an offense. Either way, decided to take them off to avoid any conflicts. Hope we can all move on and be happy with our trucks. ;)

You're right man. What color is your FJ? Mine is also an 07. I really love the looks of the 2012 Red Trail editions, would love to get one but those things are very pricey! Most of the ones I've seen for sale are near or over 30k! Maybe I can get one in a couple of years, LOL.
