    I'll be headed up there quite a bit between now and the end of October. I mainly stay East of 108 when headed up on my own, or when I end up making the plans... (not opposed to going other places though). There are quite a few places to throw a line in the water up there.

    You had Freon filled by a HVAC tech? They should’ve checked pressure and then determine if possible leak somewhere before adding Freon.
    Does the unit come on? Inside fan, outdoor fan and compressor?

    Its my buddy. Has his own company. He wouldnt screw me over

    When the sun finally hits it, compressor dies. Its going fine now. House was at 90 when i got home. Down to 75 now

    It was damn near dry before he filled it. I took all his freon

    Not sure if he did a leak test. Fan works but compressor takes a shit at the peak of the day. I guess freon wont be available next year?? 2k sou d ok for a new unit? Installed

    Not enough to have a build thread.
    Is the compressor itself taking a dump when it's hot or is there something electrically that controls the compressor that's taking a dump? Idk about household stuff, but I've seen plenty of auto ac compressor relays act funky after a while.

    He checked the capacitor (i think thats what its called) and it was fine. Only shuts off at peak of the day. Ok on cooler days

    I think (unless this is a common thing) you have to get it to fail while testing to figure out what exactly is wrong.
