Interested to know which vehicle was the most reliable, which you put the most miles on, and which you wish you never got rid of.

My Taco is my 6th truck, not counting my old Suburban. It is probably my 35th or 40th vehicle, I would have to put some serious thought into it.

86 Chevy C-10 (traded it for a Camaro I think)
87 Chevy S-10 (it got stolen)
91 Chevy S-10 (traded it for a family car)
92 Chevy S-10 (sold it when I went overseas)
16 Nissan Frontier (traded it for the Taco)

Not my first truck, but it’s my first Tacoma. Too many prior trucks to list, Tacoma has driven me more miles and has been the only one I do not see my self selling.

    57 chevy apache, 56 Ford f250, 64 GMC v6, 77 Plymouth arrow sport, 59 Ford F250, 67 GMC v6, 84 Dodge, 94 Dodge, 94 S10, 17 SR5. All had manuals except the Dodges and S10.
The S10 was junk, not just a bad design but a lemon also, 94 Dodge was crap also. The 59 Ford was really cool after I put a dump truck steering gear box in it, probably my favorite, not the most practical but the coolest. A real brick on a rollerskate. That was a "truck".
The GMC 305 v6 was a real tank motor... 0 to 60 in 10 minutes, but could do it pulling a house.

My 2nd truck. Previously had a 2000 F-150, but had to get rid of it when we were broke and gas prices went through the roof.

2019 Tacoma SR 4x4 V6 DCSB Super White
87 Ford Ranger XLT 5 speed. Bed my first woman in the cab of that truck. Somehow. My first vehicle.
95.5 Tacoma single cab 4wd 5 speed with the i4, manual locking hubs. Such a 90s green color. The first "Tacoma." Being a brand new model, it had some build quality issues.
1999 Ford extended cab XLT with a v6 and 5 speed. What a value that thing was. Got it for like 17k.
2005 Ford XL regular cab. Friends called it the "pest control" truck cause it was so plain. That's how I like 'em.
2019 (wow I went a long time without a truck) Tacoma DBSB 4x4 V6 SR. Again, I like them plain.

Ford can lick my balls. Taking away the ranger all those years, neglecting the market, so they could "force" people into their turbo charged 50k F150s. They are dead to me. Which is why I came back to the Tacoma. A return to tradition, and simplicity.

Came within a whisker of a Colorado LT with a V6 and 2WD. But I couldn't pull the trigger, for lack of confidence. It was a good value price wise. I "paid more for less" to get the Tacoma but I know it'll pay dividends down the road.

    Other cars:
78 LTD 2 that I never drove. Thank god.
92 Eclipse - kick ass sound system
    99 Mercedes C-Class (lease)
03 Corolla - 200k miles and I hated every one of them, but I needed a commuter. Traded for a
2012 VW TDI - cheater diesel. Dumped for a
2016 Mazda 6 with a six speed. Still got it. Great car.

First truck. Still novel and super fun for me. Commuter for me from the burbs into downtown which isn't the most efficient idea but i dont care, it's fun, and weekend warrior-ing with my 3 and 6 year old boys. Looking forward to being able to explore more around the PNW.
