My tire inflation light is on yet my tires are at proper inflation. The guy I bought the truck from said it's a little battery somewhere that has to be replaced. I know it doesnt affect anything but I hate ANY warning lights on. Any insight into this? Thanks!

IF the seller is correct, you need a new TPMS sending unit in one of the wheels, because it's battery is dead. The battery is not replaceable.

It requires a dismount/remount of the tire on that wheel. Problem is knowing which wheel.

At the age of the vehicle, I'd wait till you needed tires and replace all 4 at once.

If your model has a TPMS in the spare, make sure the spare is at proper pressure too.

piece of black tape or furniture sticky over dash icon works well

just be sure air pressure is correct in tires
