I’m attempting the heat tomorrow morning. Went and got a decent hair dryer On huge sale for $10 at target with 4 heats strings so I can be cautious. Goo gone has helped on the areas where it’s minimal adhesive. So I know once I get the bulk off this will be easy. Thanks for all the help! My old cars didn’t have THIS much adhesive on them so this took me by little shock :D

I see a lot of people having problems doing this. Not sure why. Heat is definitely your friend.

I pulled my door badges, tailgate and bedside decals off on an 76-80 degree day. Shit came right off with damn near, no left over residue.

Goo gone works awesome. Go buy some.

I used Goof Off to remove the badges and bedside stickers (prepped for some new matte black ones) stuff works amazing. I tried Goo Gone on one side of the bedside, it took about 10x longer to remove the adhesive underneath than Goof Off, plus it left some weird residue that I had to use the Goof Off on to get rid of. I put it on the rag itself and blotted it on, let it sit for a few sec, then wiped it off. Once I got all the remaining bits off I washed the area really well with soap/water. It didn't leave any dull marks or anything, can't even tell the stickers were there.

I'm lucky to have a power washer with stream at my job. Just blasted them off and finished with some Goo be Gone.

Agree with everyone: heat is the answer

So the goo gone honestly didn’t do anything for me. I bought the truck used so maybe it was just so “stuck” and that’s why it didn’t help.

Heat however did. I originally got the emblems off just fine with fishing line. But the adhesive stuck almost 100%. So with heat, a putty knife with some pointers tape around edges, and a clean micro fiber; I was able to warm up. Peel. And then remove excess with micro fiber.

    This doesn't contribute either.

Leaving it in the sun helps the beginning process. Also, once completely removed, I would wash the area, claybar it, and wax it.
