    Satisfied with 2.5's.

With suspension, never go half-ass, because you will end up doing it the right way eventually, and it will only cost you more.

You guys really think going 2.0's is half assed? Or are you just referring to the saw 2.0's?

well....i've never had so much trouble deciding on something, but I may have made a decision finally. if I ever have a need for long travel, i'll do it, but for now, i think a "bulletproof" so to speak, mid travel suspension is my goal. things can and will always break, but I think I've come up with a decent setup....

    I already have LR UCAs
    what i'll be buying:
-King 2.5 w/ RR (haven't decided from where yet, but probably from DS motorsports)

    -spindle gussets from all pro
-limit straps, strap clevis, and clevis mount...all found here http://www.kartek.com/Product/Fabrication/Straps.html

    -Total Chaos LCA skids http://www.chaosfab.com/product/accessories/05tacoma/86006.jpg

those will be the emediate parts (shocks within the next week or two, and everything else over the corse of the next 2 months)

then as time goes by, i can upgrade and strengthen using some of total chaos' products: new lower/upper uniball control arms & LCA cam tab gussets.

I would also like to find some coil bucket gussets, but i don't think total chaos sells them for the 05+. i'll keep searching for a company that does. worst case scenario, i can just make some.

so with all of that said......anyone have suggestions on anything else worth while that i may want/need in the near future? or any comments on the stuff i listed?

thanks for all of the help with the coilovers!

Are you buying the standard travel kings? If so why do you need the limit straps?

yeah, standard travel. i figured a strap setup is pretty cheap and i'd rather lose .25 to .5 inches of travel but protect my shocks in the long run (or whatever tops out first). better safe than sorry i figure.
