Tried wiring up my raptor lights. After not finding a suitable place to wire them to because I didn't wanna fudge anything up I just used a cigarette lighter plug and plugged into the center console plug

Speaking of painting, this might count: the first piece of armor I added to my truck about 2 years ago was sliders. Didnt want to pay for powder, so rattle cans it was. Except it was like December or January or something in Maine. House I was renting at the time had a nice basement, so I figured I would spray them in there. Holy shit did that make a mess.. I hung drop cloths under / behind where I was spraying, didnt hardly make a difference. By the time I was done sweeping the dust pan was full. Like full, full. Not to mention the entire house smelled like spray paint for several days even with box fans running the whole time. Luckily the roommate didnt care too much

Oh and I also broke my phone during the prep phase when I dropped a wire wheel on the very edge of the screen. Hit that like 0.2mm sliver of unprotected screen between the edge of the phone and the start of the screen protector  That one hit totally ruined the touch sensor..

Overall 1/10, would not recommend haha

Don't know if it counts yet, I have the full BLHM sitting around and the MESO third brake lights sitting around. Feels like a fail because I am not sure if I ever want to tackle it

Same, it shouldn't cost too much. It's just such an awkward curve and shape, it wouldn't be easy for the poor guy who gets stuck with it.

I'm surprised that more people havent tried it yet, you and I are probably not the only people who have thought about a fix for that glare.

That was actually super easy, just bang that out. I actually noticed I had a small split on the hose but not all the way through, probably from over tightening the hose clamp so I'll replace that this weekend.

This was me lol :rofl:Brain fart moment. Confused the hell out of me for a bit. Once I flipped the actuator, all was good. I thank KTJO for her patient help and restraint when she probably wanted to say “Hey dumbass....” :)

Before the Mercury Marauder was a thing, everybody was putting Mustang Cobra rims on Crown Vics & Grand Marquis. They looked pretty sharp as long as it wasn't the Miami Florida version with the fake convertible top. Fast forward a few years, and I'll let you guess how I found that there was a very light rub on the sidewall of both front tires. Fortunately this was discovered on some low speed roads on the way home from work. Also fortunate in that the original rims & tires were still stacked up in the garage.

mine's been sitting in the box for a month. between reading this and that others cables were too short... I just sorta decided to wait. I think if I wait long enough it just might install itself.

LOL... I've done plenty that are probably harder... it's one of those that I wanted, but the 'need' isn't super huge yet. i'll get there.
