    ok so I fixed my problem. First I removed the two air injector parts in the pics above and took them apart. They were perfectly fine, so I put them back. I changed the cat and problem went away. Bad cat. Costed me $650 for the part plus the O2 sensors and spark plugs.

    Yes the air secondary injection system will cause this symptom. Not usually an issue on the 4 banger. Bigger problem with the V6 2012.
