itunes shared network?

So I was out of town earlier this week on my macbook in our hotel, when i looked on my itunes I saw a shared folder with like three folders in it. When I clicked on each folder I could listen to the music on each persons computer. But when I tried to put the music on my ipod or in my library it wouldn't let me. Is there a program where I can do this? Like it searches for networks that im connected to?

 

I think they need to enable their home sharing function.........unless their is a way around this?........................

 

even if u enable sharing, you cant download someone else's music to your ipod cuz it is copy protected, you need to find a software online

 

yeah i was unable to find any software online. Unless anyone else on here knows of one?
