If you were moving a light dune buggy 2 hours with a 2018 off road with tow package 2wd if that matters. Would you use a dolly or trailer ?

Condition of the buggy is supposed to be good and it runs and drives. I have only seen pictures.

I will be renting the tow apparatus for a 1 time < I hope > use

I always prefer to have all 4 wheels of a towed vehicle be on a trailer. Last time I towed a car was on a U-Haul 2-axle car trailer, and I did that with a minivan. You should have no issue with a Tacoma.

I would second the opinion above and get a full trailer for a light dune buggy.

If you were trying to tow a heavier vehicle, the two wheel dolly would be my bet.

Get the trailer the key word being “supposed” means you’ll have issues besides...there isn’t much difference on rental price between the two...you wanna get stuck for the sake of twenty bucks?

disregard its 10 bucks difference in the dolly and 2 axle trailer.

Makes it an easy call .

    thanks for the tips
