Hey Guys. I just bought a 2015 Tacoma Double Cab that needs a bit of work. Most of it is basic stuff like replace the grill, fix some rock chips in the paint, etc. There's one repair that has me baffled. The rear frame ends are a little crunched up and so is the rear bumper and brackets. It was rear-ended at some point. It didn't affect the leaf spring perches. It's only where the bolt holes are for the bumper bracket. I've sourced a bumper and brackets but I can't seem to find anything to repair the frame ends. I can weld but my tools are a bit limited for fabrication. If this was a 1st Gen Tacoma, there are used frame end cuts on eBay, there's a company that makes new rear frame sections and repair pieces, options galore! This doesn't seem to be the case for 2nd Gens. I found a single frame end cut on eBay for $200(!?!) and no new frame repair pieces. Am I missing something obvious?

Another option would be to find something that replaces the frame end stubs, like a heavy duty bumper or something. I have a Jeep Wrangler that has a heavy duty tire carrier on it. When I installed that, there were frame reinforcement pieces that wrap around it for about a foot or so in. Does something like that exist for a Tacoma? If it does, I may not have to repair anything back there.
