Did I get a bum kit or am I missing something obvious?

I'm working on the passenger side, installing the crossbar, and it's like there are no threads to screw into. The entire bolt just fits in the opening. Could someone post a picture of what theirs looks like with that T20 bolt removed?

The last picture shows what the back looks like with the bolt removed.

There should be a square bolt that clips in that goes underneath with threads in it.

Here is a pic of the underside. You will need to remove the passenger side to see if it is there or just fell off? First pic just showing what you have to remove. Second pic is underside showing square bolt clipped in place.

Well, that really sucks. Thanks for the heads up, saved me a lot of time.

At least I bought local. What an overpriced piece of shit.

Phew! Found it, just got poked out. Guess I don't have to go embarrass myself at Toyota tomorrow.

    Thanks again.

Nice, they come out fairly easy. Some people have placed tape over it so it doesn't push out of place while putting the screw in.
