    Hello,

In the process of purchasing a Tacoma. I have a boat and will be using it for towing and launching/retrieving my boat. I was looking at what rims to get, I dont see a point in spending a couple thousand on nice rims as they might end up trashed by salt water exposure. What are good, strong, durable wheels that would be best for a lot of towing and salt exposure/harsh elements, preferably black.

I was looking at some rims designed for offroad, they were simple patterns and black, and ran $150 a rim. Thanks for any input.

Those are steel wheels. Probably not the best around salt and the elements. (someone with more experience with those wheels might chime in)
If you are looking to keep costs down, I'd pick up a set of oem TRD Off Road wheels that someone took off and put aftermarket wheels on. You can usually pick up a set pretty cheap.
    My .02¢

    Cheers

Thanks for the response, something like these bad boys?

Says they are aluminum, (meaning better corrosion resistance) something I probably should have considered. I look into these, thanks.

Those are 17inch TRD 4Runner wheels. They look great on the Tacoma's. (my opinion)
You can usually get a set of those for about $800 or so.

I was actually talking about 2016+ Tacoma TRD Off Road wheels.
Look in the "for sale section" here on Tacoma World. You can usually pick up a set pretty cheap.

    Cheers
