touchscreen discolored

I have 2014 Tacoma and the touchscreen will become discolored and distorted at times. But will go back to normal for a few days than become discolored again. Doesn't seem to help to turn it off and back on. Has anyone else have this same problem? Or know how to fix it?

 

Yes, the screen is on its way out. Sounds like either the lcd screen is defective, ribbon cables have moisture corrosion or the display driver is toast. Replacing the screen is doable but it has to come from China and might not be the problem. Might be cheaper to find one out of a wreck, that is what I did and even found a nav one that plugged right in.
