    The accident is those were in the lower storage when I recently was sorting the cellared brews. I'm unsure of their "shelf life" even if stored reasonably well.
    As for others, Over the years I have made a number of friends in the business as well as socially beyond beer. We still hang out, swap stories and talk beer. I occasionally get "gifts" and will often give "gifts". As the old saying goes... I can't drink, but I'm NOT DEAD! It also doesn't hurt that the gulf south is unlike most areas that I have been to. You can carry liquor openly and find it in most places. We have drive thru liquor places all over... Hell, there was a place called the beer barn back in the 80's that you drove up, ordered, paid and they loaded your cases in the trunk. Now THAT's convenience! Oh, I still purchase or may trade for occasional cellar candidates or interesting finds for friends. Does that make it clear as mud?

    EDIT: I should also state that some of my lunch haunts have plenty of beer variety and my co-worker is an affectionado with a partialness to single malts. I defer to him on that, because that's not my thing (Thank god, imagine $100+ four packs!).

    I actually forgot about this in the fridge. It’s not quite 90 days old but it definitely lost its hop aroma and flavor. Just a bit of bitterness and a large amount of sweetness. Disappointing.
