A little something every chance we get.
Thanks, and if you will forgive my DA question - you talking about changing the whole throttle body assembly, not just jets somewhere that I don't know are there.

OOPS - I also have to assume that the computer controls the air/fuel mix....

How much did the TB cost you? Now that i think about it, i have a 7th injector that will need to go there so im not sure how all that works and if they can work together. Surely theres some way

Yes, the whole valve gets swapped for a larger one. Should flow and meter more in theory, once I have the exhaust side opened up so it can breath evenly.

    Hell yes, someday lol!

I got it on eBay for $135 shipped with 12% eBay bucks back. It took some digging and waiting but lkq has some good ones on there.

I saw where someone had stacked the adapter plate and the 7th plate and it worked. I think it was in the SC tips and tricks thread.... I’ve been stealing ideas over there too:)

Thanks Kent. So, if you just pull the negative battery, and reconnect after a few - does the stock ECU learn this, or does it need the computer help you were talking about. Obviously joking about 30 mpg, but this is as interesting as Cowsmasher and his shocks and suspension. Never to old to learn a little bit!

While resetting the ecm will do pretty well, to take full advantage of the mods I believe a full tune is a must. Every truck and mod is different and needs to be monitored and tuned specifically. I’m working through some minor issues right now with knock feedback. My truck has done it since I got it. We have improved it some, but I’m leaving hp and mpg on the table at this point until I sort out the root cause.

    You’re more patient than me!

It’s a learning process for sure, especially for an old dumb diesel guy.

Its only because Im doing my very best to try to leave the truck alone right now since its running normally. Its been a long road to get to this point
we all start somewhere, i have no idea what im doing, but hopefully one day i can get a pretty good grasp on things just for my own personal understanding. Thats all im really looking for. I know there are people out there that can do a much better job than me.. ill try to leave it to the experts

You guys are more genius than you know. I get Hot Rod for bathroom reading, and when I am done with the fluff, I have three weeks to read about the HOW TO and EXPERT stuff at the back. I don't pretend to understand more than what I did in the 70's, but if you read stuff all the time, something sinks in. And what everyone does now is so tied to the computer, even old school admits it!
Fun watching you all go through what you want to get done, so, just
    THANKS MAN!
