6in lift, 35s, aftermarket wheels, bull bar running boards, and prinsu roof rack!
Just got the truck 1 month ago! I also have a 2000 Toyota Prerunner. Love these trucks!! I put a 6 in lift with 35's last week. I went with the Rough Country kit. (Save some money) Getting some vibes at low and hi speeds. Truck looks great with my Prinsu roof rack and Cali raised LED lights! Truck was stock when I got it, been upgrading since I got it!

Welcome! Maybe try a carrier bearing drop to help with the driveshaft angle? Just a thought. Good luck and nice looking dog!

    Welcome to TW!

Where are you feeling your vibrations? It could be a myriad of issues after installing the 6" lift, since you've changed the geometry of your truck's operating angles. It's possible that the vibrations could be your rear axle. Try looking into a driveshaft shop near you and test your driveline angles. They may recommend a double-cardon joint for your driveshaft.

I wouldn't recommend a carrier bearing drop or axle shims because that's just guess work.

Why not on the CB Drop? An OME kit from Fat Bob's Garage is $14. Not a lot of risk on losing money there, and it won't damage the truck at all.

I can't say anything for the axle shims, not sure what those cost, but I say at least try the $15 fix before trying something that costs more. No harm in it.

While there is no harm in it, it's also a potential waste of money if you purchase and install with no "fix." Obtaining a new driveshaft (DS) may seem more expensive, but the working angles of that DS would be properly address future geometric changes of the driveline. Basically, adding a CB drop just introduces a new angle into the driveline, with no real fix to OP's 6" lift.

All good info. If it was my truck I'd still give it a try since it's only $15, but of course the whole new driveshaft would be the best option. A lot of people don't want to drop all the $$ on a custom made shaft though.
