Really like that torque curve below 3500rpm compared to stock

Am I reading this correct? Peak torque is happening at 4179 vs. 4526 RPM between 1.05 93 with stock headers vs. new tune with downtubes?

I might as well be trying to read a lung x-ray but am I looking at this correctly - Torque with the tune and pipes at 2000 rpm is around 250 lb-ft? Looking back at old dyno stuff it looks like bone stock torque is less than 100 at 2k and only getting to 190 by 3500 and 93 tune was 215 or so at 3,000.

If this is real it is huge! I don't care all that much about HP and T at 6k. I want torque at my commute style of driving, i.e. less than 3500 rpm.

Please do runs without the pipes for those of us that live in areas with annual smog inspection. Hopefully the pipes aren't responsible this this huge low-end increase.

So we know that it's been tested on various types of dynos now. (dyno dynamic... "heart breakers").. .Dyno Jets.. ( "the standard") and Dynapack.
I would focus more on the stock vs tuned runs than the numbers themselves. because one dyno to another cannot really be "compared" perfectly.

Especially our old stuff on the dyno dynamics. Those are heart breaker dynos. they read very low.

Also, these runs are without the wheels, so that eliminates a factor completely.

We will have runs without pipes as well.

I already dropped the dough for the dump tubes last week. I will wait patiently for them and their specific tune. Thus I will probably be one of the first to get them. I will report here naturally, however it will probably be some time before all this happens.

@OVTune I am curious as to if one has 4.88's and dump tubes and there is a coinciding tune for each, which should one choose, or will there be a 4.88+dump tube tune?

More data for you guys after this weekend. Just wanted to give you guys some preliminary results, so you guys know we're working.

2018+ trucks with radar cruise will have a few other things added into 2.0 as well

The dump tubes thing is a bit of a downer because of stupid emission testing :( can’t have anything fun!

Can an average Joe install the dump tubes or is this an all day job for a Pro shop?

What is different about the Lexus IS350 with 2GR-FKS? It's rates at 311hp on 91. I know this is who and the woulDyno Iis ralad have expected this to exceed that especially on 93. Other than the rev limiter are the engines really identical?

I know this is who and the dyno is a realative number.

Will dump tubes also show a sizeable improvement for those of us running 87 performance?

Just saying but usually any horsepower rating offered by a manufacturer is at the crankshaft, not the wheels

If it’s a few hour job for an average joe I might consider doing what the Subaru guys do :anonymous:

It was said that it is an easy job.

I know that I can see the head connection through the wheel well. No word on what happens with the O2 sensors.
