Weathertech mats, BAMF sliders, US Offroad front winch bumper, RCI Alum. Skid plates, ICON suspension, Pelfreybilt rear bumper, JBA uca's, Allpro u-bolt flip,
BS. They will rust, be wrong for different rims or get damaged from improper installation/removal. Lug nuts won't get hot enough to warp from being mounted on a vehicle.

Not sure about the scion XB lug nuts. But I know the factory lug nuts on my taco are a stupid ass 2 pice. I replaced half of them a couple months ago because they where warped/swollen and got stuck AF in the socket taking them off. Had to use a extension and beat them out of the socket.

Edit: here are some pic of what they looked like. The one with the big dint in it was beat out of a socket with a 3/8” drive extension.

I can see it being a bit of a problem. When I took the wheels off I used I think a 22mm socket, when I got the new lugs nuts and put them on I used a 21mm. It could be a problem if you get a flat and the wrench that came with the truck wont fit on the lug nuts at all.

I worked at a tire shop and these happen alot. Usually gm trucks but it can happen to any lug nuts with a chrome cap. There are specialty sockets for these swollen nuts 19.5mm, 21.5mm and 22.5mm. The shitty thing is when you go to loosen the lug nut by hand or with an impact, and the cap just spins. Then you gotta try remove the socket which can be hard sometimes. Now we would call the customer if they would like to buy new lugs nuts to replace the swollen ones. Once we get the ok to do so, well need to remove the chrome cap without scratching the wheels. Easy if you have a grinder or if you don’t, just poke a hole through the center (it’s hollow any way) then just peel back on it very carefully then use a socket thats a mm down or a standard socket to remove the naked nut. I would take pictures of every wheel that I serviced before I do anything wheel related to cover my ass.

You won’t know until you come across a swollen one. Hard to explain it.

All pics deleted, I don’t work there no more.

Can happen to any manufacturer with chrome capped nuts. Got a pic off of google, but most looks like this.

How will I know? Unless I take them off and physically try and take the cover off?
