King Off-Road Shock Coilover 2.5 with Resi in the front. King Off-Road Shocks 2.5 with Resi's for the rears, Rear Spring TSB, KMC XD Enduros 16x8, Black Vinyl Fenders, Bed compartment locks, Cobra 19 DX IV with Lil Wil mag mount antenna, CoverKing Seat covers front and rear, Built Right UCAs, Aluminess Expedition Bumper, GY Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar 265/75-16, Custom hybrid style rock sliders.
I am looking to get a new Garmin for the truck. I want to use it for On and Off Road use. I would like to have something that can save my trails or show me trails that I can take (if that is possible). Let me know if you have experience. Would be nice to go to Ocotillo Wells and have it on my GPS rather than to get a Map at the ranger station.

I wanted one that I can put in my truck for both the street and off road. I hear good things about the Etrex but can you mount them in your car? Can they do street stuff too? I want something inbetween. I have a Macbook so that is good to know. Do they also have preset trails? Like Pine valley trail...would they have that pre loaded?

Thanks Cliff....when are you coming back out? I am heading to Corral Canyon right after work today.

We need to head out to Corral Canyon...I really like that place when we went on the 4x4 sections. Let me know what weekend that is..I am down unless the Chargers are in town.

I know this is an old thread but if you have the Garmin already you may want to try some of these. They are free.

Im putting a Kenwood 9960 in my truck today but you cant load the trails as paths or input costom waypoints. The use of Topo maps in the 9960 is a hack and not authorised by Garmon or Kenwood... I do get good onroad/offroad use though and can still drop bread crumbs. The Garmin portion of the 9960 is basically a high end Nuvi.
