The biggest advantage to buying a Tacoma is the smaller size. The biggest disadvantage of a Tacoma is the smaller size. If you get the DC long bed you have the same length as a 1/2 ton with a regular cab and an 8' bed or an extended cab with 6.5" bed. And a 1/2 ton extended cab rear seat is about the same size as a DC Tacoma. But none of the advantages of a bigger cab, more payload and more towing. Fuel mileage is exactly the same anymore.

The long bed on a regular cab or Access cab Tacoma makes sense. Not on the DC. You get all of the disadvantages of a Tacoma, none of the advantages. If thinking about a DC long bed you're better off buying a 1/2 ton.

Maybe this: not a fine Italian shoe, but instead a casual, low-ankled steel toed bootvaultex_dry_01.jpg .

Only when we want to. As opposed to double cabbers, who are forced to because a) their wives make them b) potty training class is in session.

Least we MAKE the choice .

I was at work one day and a guy in a suit was walking through the jobsite.

This big guy with tattoos turned to me and said, "that guy was gay, did you see his shoes?"

I replied that imo, the man who noticed what shoes other men were wearing was usually the one who is gay.

    Not hating, just my observation.

Short bed. DCSB is the only option for the 6MT. unless you want an access cab sport (or live in Canada)

I drive a ext cab half ton at work all day, I’m more than happy to jump back in my DCLB at the end of he day. It’s still much easier to park and more nimble than the half ton that’s only slightly longer.

Pretty much all you see where I live is DCLB’s a handful of AC, and I know where all 3 DCSB’s are parked that I’ve seen, and then there’s the other two 2nd gen short beds I’ve seen. I’d say it’s like 100:1, LBvsSB where I live, it’s an island with 125,000 people who apparently have no issues driving a DCLB.
