Never been overly impressed with them, but they seem to be a favorite around here. My experience is limited, my dad had 2 sets on his Durango, and I had a set on my tundra. No set wore evenly and they gave me fits balancing them. Never bought another set, not because of any kind of grudge, I'm just not a falken dealer. Why pay full price for falkens when I get a discount on many other brands

I've read about balancing issues around here. Just thought I would check your opinion. Thank you.

Gonna go detect an old mill site for coins in the morning before it gets hot out, then prolly clean the house and start packing for vacation.

How about yourself? That's on the agenda for the weekend?

    Okay. :)

Not long after I got married and moved back North, I was invited to go fishing.
On the Susquehanna River, for Walleyes.
    In February.

So my new friend had a jonboat with oars.
And that mile-wide river looked pretty damn swift to me.
He had a cinder block for an anchor.
    Oh well, okay.

So we get out on the river and freezing rain starts.
No problem he says and hands me a garbage bag.
So I poke holes for my head and arms and put it on.
I was feeling a bit chilly by now, having just come from SC, and was not acclimated yet.

So we're out for a few hours and...nothing.
I'm pretty miserable by now and suggest we head in.
Nah, he says, plenty of light left. They're supposed to be running now.
    So I tough it out.

Well, I did hook one shortly after...a big one.
With the size of that Walleye and the powerful current, I had that fish on the line for over an hour.
I finally get him in and notice there's no net.
Stick your thumb in his mouth and grab him and pull him in, says I. Like a Bass.
He replies, are you nuts? Look at those teeth! (I didn't know).

So the bigass Walleye got tired of our debate and spit the hook.
    Bye bye.

The one that got away.
To this day, I've never caught a Walleye.
