I wouldn't mess with it if it is a small leak and compressor is coming on every couple of minutes, but mine had major leak where it was spitting out fluid and compressor was running continues.
ARB provided 5 yr warranty on air lockers

    ...too much shit to list.
Most likely the installers fault. It’s not hard to over torque that fitting and blow air inside the diff.

Rearend specialties was always good to me when I was in the Bay. I would just talk to them.

Any thoughts for a good shop in the East Bay? I’m in Oakland, near Mills College.

Have a weird clicking noise about a half second after I hit the brakes, like there’s something loose, but everything looks ok when I pull the wheels. Also have a transmission rattle when shifting and going over bumps, could be TSB-0365-10

So, looking for someone trustworthy to do front end/transmission work (could also use an alignment)

2nd gen, 2011 Access Cab TRD 6-speed, no mods

I’m sure someone on here has an opinion :)

I agree with you it is very easy to over torque and damage the o-ring. I have been going to Adam since 2003-2004 and whole bunch of my friend used him as well. He is a good guy and a very reasonable too. Second time when he took the diff apart he admitted that air line got pinched since there isn't much space in there and he took care of it. But this time he tested the whole system and didn't find any issues with his work and is pointing to ARB saying that he knows that they made "bad batches" of O-rings and they are aware of it. I even talked to ECGS and they did confirm that "couple" of their customers had similar issues as well and ARB covered it. ARB guys were very nice about the whole situation and didn't try to beat around the bush and said they will cover it, which I must say is very rare these days. They are sending new bondage seals and said they will cover if this was the issue. Man I just want my truck back so I could go camping lol.

Maybe try the double clip brake mod. It has solved the issue I believe you are describing for other TW members. Cant find a thread with a quick search but I am probably using the wrong search words. Here are some photos just add another brake caliper pin (only 1 stock).

Not enough to have a build thread.
Possibly. But since it doesnt happen all the time I'm wondering if it's like a gear chatter noise when the oil gets hot from wheeling. Just spitballing without actually hearing it

Having the same tires, had the same happen sometimes on this 3rd rotation. I'm even running equalflexx in them.

It's usually the front that has been rotated to the opposite direction it was running, take that one and swap with the back one same side.

Originally feared this, but its not making the sound noise now and nor did it for the month between the last two trips.
Doesn't do either... only get the noise in gear at higher altitude.

I was thinking along these lines, but the noise being present while the engine and tranny were cold confused the theory.

Edit* that's why I'm wondering what effect alltitidue can have on tranny fluid. Maybe its time for a flush :notsure:

How are your diffs/transmissions/transfercase vented? Maybe look into a blockage?

I thought it was reccomended to use hub centric spacers since it's the hub that's supposed to transfer the load to the wheels and not the lugs. Lugs only fasten the wheel.

I would get under the truck with this and see where the noise is coming from. It helped me isolate bad hub bearing once. Hope fully you can replicate the ticking noise when it is parked otherwise you will have to strap yourself under the truck while driving at high altitude with this and use the stethoscope

Wife was driving, surprisingly was only going 75 in a 70. Not normally like her to only go 5 over.

Agreed though. I hate people who camp the left lane all day.
