With my arthritis I couldn't get down and up as many times as it would take to do a build. I COULD, but there would be a painful price to pay. So I got this yesterday to deal with it. I've got a ton of parts I've been buying, and now I'll be able to get on with installing them, and still be able to get out of bed the next morning! You young bucks enjoy it now. I am the person you will become thirty years from now. Doing shit gets painful. Enjoy life now.

C'mon over. We can use our AARP correspondence as garage floor protection.

Me too. There are two life-defining "Aw shit!" moments in every man's life, when it sinks in that your train has left the station: When you get your first letter from AARP inviting you to join, and when some fine babe calls you "Sir" for the first time. I was 34 when the second one occurred, on an aisle in Walmart, "Excuse me, Sir...". WTF? I was still buff at 34, former college swimmer, all my hair, all my teeth. I mean, really, W T F!!????

Now, I'm a twenty-something trapped in a 63 year old body, rife with the pains of a life spent being a testosterone-fueled adrenaline junkie who cheats death on a daily basis. But with 63 years of wisdom. (How many people do you know who have jumped a creek in a shifterkart going 85 and walked away to tell about it? I had no choice. Was 46 when I did it!) This 125cc Heavy race, starts at 2:00:

You're wondering, what is that like? Terror, and adrenaline. WONDERFUL! 0-100 in 7-9 seconds. The seconds leading up to a Formula One-style standing start are the most terror and adrenaline-filled apprehensive moments you will experience during a normal life. The most fun and alive you will ever feel! More intense than getting on a bull for the first time. And karts are physically BRUTAL. No wonder I can hardly move now. It's like this, although I am nowhere as good as this guy is. He wrecks, and still wins:

The young bull and the old bull were up on the top of a hill looking down at a field full of heifers.
Young bull: "Hey old bull, how 'bout we run down there and screw us one!"
Old bull: "You run on down there and screw you one. I'm gonna' walk down there and screw all of 'em".
