    Hi All,

So, I am not sure if anyone out there is also have this same issue but I am very disappointed with Toyota currently.

I took my 2018 TRD sport Taco to the dealer to a software update (recall they called it) for the TSS sensor. Now I have the TRD Pro Grill on my truck, with the TSS special cover. Now, the TSS has worked fine, no issues with the new grill/ sensor combo; however, after the update it kept turning itself off also every time out.
I went back to them to tell them their update made it worse. So they looked into it. They came back to me and said because it's not the Sport Grill but the Pro Grill the sensors are different ( I cant find anything to confirm this) and that I would have to take my old grill, put it back on, take it to the dealer, have them run the update and calibrate the senor to the Sport grill, THEN I can take the Sport grill of, again, and put my Pro grill on.
    To me, this seems ridiculous.

I wanted to see what other people think/ have done.

    Cheers,

some people have ran into issues with the TSS recall and toyota tried to make people sign some paperwork and put a sticker on the dash after they turned off the setting to use it. Trying the search bar up top for TSS recall. and it should pop up. sorry to hear bout your issue and hopefully you can get it fixed easily. and welcome to tacoma world!

Anybody having issues with the dealer not updating the software because of communication error? Only thing I can think of that would interfere with the OBDII port is my maestro kit on my aftermarket head unit?
