I am looking to get my 12V power connector so it always has power, even when the vehicle is off. Looking for a simple way to do that without voiding my warranty. Bought a Hail Protector cover for nasty Colorado hail, but can't use it without power!
    Thank you.

    Welcome to TW.
Couple things I can think of. First, you could use an add a fuse and tap off a hot fuse and run a power wire to the existing outlet. Second option would be to use an add a fuse and just install another outlet, if doing that I would go with a outlet/usb combo, just for the added charge ports if needed. That way you are not messing with factory wiring. If you don't need the extra usb ports, they have them with a volt meter built in, which is nice to have, or just go with a single outlet.
